Native custom in Guam

One main fact about Guam is that natives like to hold parties and festivals for all kinds of occasions. Guam law states that every citizen is invited to all parties, but if you are a guest to the country and somehow find yourself attending one, be sure to take a dish to share. All parties are potlucks.

  1. Manners and common sense would dictate that you not walk in empty handed to one of our Fiestas. But I don't ever recall anyone being turned away for lack of a dish.
